Problem:
This issue has been reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering. The issue
is currently under investigation.
There are no known workarounds at this time.
Steps to Reproduce Issue:
6.0.1 client/server
User1 = resource owner
User2 = chairperson
User3 = invitee
1. Create two resources (R1 and R2) in the Resource Reservations database and
set the Owner restriction field to owner only.
2. Select a name (User1) in the owner name field for both.
3. Have User2 schedule a non-repeating meeting in his own Calendar view,
invite User3, select room R1 and then select the 'Save and Send Invitations'
button.
At this point, User3 should have received the meeting notification and User1
should have received the meeting request document.
4. Have User1 click on the doclink to process the reservation and decline the
reservation.
5. User2 receives the declined notification and opens the document.
6. User2 selects the 'Open Meeting' button: first, he selects the 'Remove
Room' button to remove the room, and then selects the 'Add Reservation' button
to add room R2.
7. Save and send the invitation.
After making the attempt to edit the meeting information by first deleting the
room and adding a different room, you will notice that User3, the invitee,
receives the updated information. On the other hand, User1, the owner of the
room, never receives the meeting request, so the new meeting information is
never processed. In addition, the reservation does not exist in the 'Waiting
for Approval' view of the Resource Reservations database.
